All media interested in covering the 12th ASEAN Summit and events should register online.

Registration for new applicants will be until January 7, 2007
   Previously denied applicants need not apply. 


Revalidation for accredited media will be until January 7, 2007
 
  Note: All accredited media will receive an email for revalidation.
 
Media Online Registration



The following must all be submitted in a single application package:

    • Media Accreditation Form (available at the website)
    • Equipment List (only if brought in from abroad)
    • Letter of Assignment endorsed by the editor or a news executive from his/her media organization
    • For a citizen of a country other than the Philippines, a copy of passport must also be included.
    • All hard copy materials must be scanned and attached in digital form.
    • On-site registration is discouraged.

CLAIMING ID BADGES

Release of ID badges will begin on January 8, 2007 onwards from 8am to 8pm at Villa I, Crown Regency Suites, Mactan City, Cebu. Late registrants must bring an endorsement letter from their embassy stating the reason for the late registration. Philippine media who will register after prescribed deadline must have prior approval from the MCS Asst Secretary General before they can be accomodated.

1.  UNCLAIMED ASEAN IDs (DECEMBER 2006)

Pls. present the original proof of approved accreditation which the applicants received in their e-mails upon the approval of their registration. Under no circumstance will ID badges be released without the original proof.

2.  CLAIMED ASEAN IDs (DECEMBER 2006)

 Please present previously issued ID.

LOST IDs

Because of the high level of security being observed through out the summit, it is advised that ID badges be properly secured in your possession at al times.
 
Replacement of lost ID badge will require the following documents:

  1. Proof of Approved Accreditation

  2. Letter from an Embassy Representative (earlier identified)
  3. Affidavit of Loss

Once an ID badge is replaced, the previously issued tag is considered void and will cease to have access to the IMC and other summit venues.
